Licence to use

1. Purpose
This licence defines the permitted uses of the song, lyrics, audio file, artwork and gift page delivered by MusicForYou after payment.
2. Customer material
The customer retains any rights they hold in their text, memories, photographs and other material. They authorise MusicForYou and its providers to process that material solely to prepare, produce, check and deliver the order. They confirm that they have the necessary permissions, in particular where the content relates to a third party.
3. Licence granted
After full payment, MusicForYou grants a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive and unlimited-duration licence to the delivered version, subject to this document and third-party rights. It permits:
- listening, downloading and keeping it for personal use;
- sharing the file or the gift page address with the relevant friends and family;
- playing it at a private event, including a birthday or wedding;
- publishing it on the customer's personal accounts, including social media, provided the creation is not presented as an exclusively human work and does not infringe the rights of others.
4. Uses not included
Without prior written permission, the licence does not permit resale, sublicensing, inclusion in a product for sale, a third-party advertising campaign, a film, a programme, a game, a music library, or distribution on a music platform such as Spotify or Apple Music. Nor does it permit trade mark registration, claiming absolute exclusivity, or removing an attribution required by a provider.
Additional commercial permission may be considered depending on the intended use, applicable provider plan and available rights.
5. Assisted creation and rights
The lyrics and music are created with the assistance of automated systems. The two musical interpretations are produced through APIFrame with Suno. APIFrame's terms applicable to its paid outputs and Suno's terms remain determinative; the rights actually available therefore depend on the contracts and plans applicable at the time of production.
MusicForYou does not promise that every generated element independently qualifies for copyright, is legally exclusive or has no similarity to another creation. The licence covers only rights MusicForYou is actually entitled to grant. Moral rights and third-party rights remain reserved.
6. Content restrictions
The customer must not use the creation to impersonate a person's identity or voice, imitate an identifiable artist, spread unlawful, deceptive or defamatory content, harass a third party, or infringe intellectual property, personality or privacy rights.
7. Gift page and links
The gift page is public but not indexed by search engines. Anyone who has its address can open it; the customer chooses with whom to share it and may delete the song from their account. The customer must not use it to publish personal data without permission.
8. End of the licence
In the event of a serious breach, MusicForYou may require the relevant use to stop after notice. Copies lawfully made before that date remain subject to the licence restrictions. Mandatory consumer rights are not affected.
9. Status of this document
This version was updated on 29 August 2026 by the MusicForYou operator for the pilot launch after reviewing the terms published by APIFrame and Suno. It had not been reviewed by a legal professional as of that date and may be updated later. The version accepted when the order was placed remains the version applicable to the song concerned.
